Project Description
Lightweight structure exploring the principles of tensegrity. Its purpose is to serve as a shed over a stairwell leading to the underground facilities of the building.
The tensegrity structure is composed of stainless steel pipes and ropes fixed in an simingly irregular manner. Represents a study and practical utilization of the extraordinary possibilities the tensegrity structural principles provide.
Toughened glass and appropriate fixing elements are employed to create the envelope.
