Project Description
Al Ma’wa for Nature and Wildlife is located in a natural forest in the northern part of Jordan, near Souf, approximately 40 km away from the capital Amman.
The sanctuary is developed on 70 Ha of land and consists of 9 enclosures to provide shelter to rescued wild animals - lions, tigers, wolfs, bears, hyenas.
Our involvement includs the wildlife part of the whole project:
- consulting
- survey and site planning
- enclosures layouting and setting up on site
- provision of specific planning solutions and construction details of fencing, gates, sluises for transfer of animals
- desidn of night rooms
- design of public amenities - Din Din recreation area, pathways, observation tower
- 3-D presentation preparation
